Middle Of The Night Ramblings
Ack... The downside to going to bed extremely early is that you also wake up extremely early. I fell asleep around 5pm last night. It's now 3:50am. Unfortunately I woke with a headache, too. Probably that whole dehydration thing. I gulped down water, downed a bowl of cereal and some aspirin and will be going back to bed shortly. (I fell asleep without eating anything for dinner, which is probably why I woke when I did.)
Given the half-awake condition of what I affectionately call my brain, I was going to post an interminable questionnaire I lifted from somebody else's site, but when I read it, I decided it was just tooooooo looooonngg....
I am going back to bed in a few minutes. At the moment I'm sitting in my nightgown and have a man's necktie draped around my neck. Gee, bet you can't guess whose tie it is. Someone forgot it here.
Somebody shoot me. I'm becoming such a total sap.
Whoops - forgot some folks are up at all hours (or on the opposite side of the planet, during normal hours.) I had actually posted the list of questions and edited them out. Most of the answers were repeated from previous entries, anyway, and I couldn't really see any point in re-posting them.
So on the small chance anyone re-reads and wonders, yeah, this entry is much shorter now. Probably no more coherent, but definitely shorter.
Before - After
In the grander scheme of things, no soul can truly be replaced. Each one of us has a place in the universal tapestry. We each contribute our own color and texture. When one thread is snipped too soon, it distorts all the threads around it. Other lives can unravel and tear. If the wrong thread is ripped away, the whole fabric of life becomes dangerously fragile.
