Yet another reason I like Firefox. There is now a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) extension you can install (works only on Firefox version 1.5, though, I think.) It works for Diaryland, too - no more hand-coding in all of the italics, etc. I believe it's Windows only - but not positive, because I saw a note on the forum where I found out about it that said one of the editors works on Macs. (There were two versions of editor cited on the forum, including one specific to that forum system, so not positive which was Mac-compatible.)
Today's going to be busy, but I've gotten lots done already. The next two days' schedule is completed and one of the Christmas spots rewritten and produced with a post-Christmas slant. Still have two more rewrites and re-records, and will probably do one more day's schedule. I already fueled up and will check the oil in the truck this afternoon, then finish up at home. The plan is to head out of town immediately after work tomorrow, early if possible.
I also have a load of laundry to do this evening and am going to wash and vacuum out the truck. I washed it when Nicim was here, but didn't do a very good job. This time around I've had a little more time to get things done, fortunately, so going to try to do it right this time!
Darn... it's nearly lunchtime so I guess this is going to have to be a shorter entry than I planned. I need to sign off and call it "good enough."
Before - After
In the grander scheme of things, no soul can truly be replaced. Each one of us has a place in the universal tapestry. We each contribute our own color and texture. When one thread is snipped too soon, it distorts all the threads around it. Other lives can unravel and tear. If the wrong thread is ripped away, the whole fabric of life becomes dangerously fragile.
