Habeas Corpulence

Downtown is a madhouse, as predicted and expected. It's quiet here at the house tonight, though. Ellen and Zeb are off to the play for the night and the other roomies are out and about somewhere.

MC and I scarfed down some leftovers for dinner, mostly because neither MC nor I felt up to traipsing off to who knew where to go get something resembling food, nor did I feel up to cooking anything resembling food. Fortunately the fridge was jam-packed with leftover goodies, which served perfectly well in lieu of a more-money-than-we-could-afford meal at a restaurant. And it's likely healthier and (one can hope) less fat-inducing.

However, at the moment I'm feeling kind of icky - a combination of depression and fed-upped-ness and just plain being tired - so I think this may be one of the shortest entries in this history of this diary.

Hope everybody has a great weekend.

Before - After

In the grander scheme of things, no soul can truly be replaced. Each one of us has a place in the universal tapestry. We each contribute our own color and texture. When one thread is snipped too soon, it distorts all the threads around it. Other lives can unravel and tear. If the wrong thread is ripped away, the whole fabric of life becomes dangerously fragile.
