Computerless

Ack... My computer has been giving me fits for a while, growing ever more tempermental. I had pretty much narrowed it down to a short in the motherboard.

Sure enough, it died last night. There's no resurrecting that thing. I am working late tonight and posting from work - but hopefully by tomorrow night I'll have a working machine at home again. I got permission from Boss to load Windows on the Linux machine so I can still work from home. Barring catastrophe, I'll get another motherboard and upgraded processor and RAM mid-month. At least, here's hoping...

I'm out of time tonight - worked through my buddy list starting at the top. If I missed you, it wasn't lack of wanting to read your writing. I just don't have access to a computer at the moment.

Before - After

In the grander scheme of things, no soul can truly be replaced. Each one of us has a place in the universal tapestry. We each contribute our own color and texture. When one thread is snipped too soon, it distorts all the threads around it. Other lives can unravel and tear. If the wrong thread is ripped away, the whole fabric of life becomes dangerously fragile.
