Ain't Myth-Behaving

For everyone whose forums I typically visit and post to - I went, I read, have no clue what I read. Have been trying to work and move pretty much simultaneously, which is no small feat. I tried to read but in reality, my eyes are crossing here...

Figured since my rent here is paid until the 1st, I'll put things away as I move them. 00 has already cleaned there, and I'm unpacking as I go. It won't keep things from being messy but should hold it down.

Realized I *really* need a new bedspread or comforter/quilt. The one I have was fine until 00 decided to dye her hair in my room... on my bed... Gotta love hair dye, it doesn't wash out of unbleached muslin quilts.

Oh well, not the end of the world. Will be moving my computer into my bedroom, the kids can fend for themselves. No more unlimited and unwise DL of stuff of dubious legality. I have already killed umpteen viruses and uninstalled programs and deleted content but all of the above keep coming back *sigh*.

Hopefully Quebec comes back soon, I'll have him build me another Linux router so I don't get 00's glut of viruses across the home intranet. She can risk her own info but not mine.

Still have the ear infection but a lot less depressed than the last few nights. I'm not going to try and analyze it - just glad the episode is more or less over. Will be glad when I get things done this week, get moved, and get out of here for good. The neighborhood was never great but it's gotten really bad lately. And discovering that my 'nonpublished' info was in the phone book was the icing on the cake.

When everything is said and done I might post pictures. You know, some of those 'Yeah, this was my place before I lived here. Notice how clean it looked?' pictures.

Boss called to ask where my story was for tonight's meeting. I reminded him that this was meeting #2 of a series today and he'd told me I didn't need to go to both. I already wrote him the Epistle of the Romans for the afternoon news so he's good to go.

Boss tried to pick on a couple of other things but I shot them down too. I didn't get home 'on time' tonight as it was and I wasn't about to get sucked into more when we'd already discussed the fact that I'm ready to walk and leave him holding the mouse. I will have another marathon day tomorrow - after the trip to Phoenix will have to cover a Dem meeting and dutifully record yet more lies by yet more politicians. Big surprise there, eh? More than likely won't be home until 8-ish tomorrow night and then have the joy of producing the news reports for the next day.

G'night, y'all. I'm going to try something novel I heard about a while back. I think they call it 'sleep.'

Before - After

In the grander scheme of things, no soul can truly be replaced. Each one of us has a place in the universal tapestry. We each contribute our own color and texture. When one thread is snipped too soon, it distorts all the threads around it. Other lives can unravel and tear. If the wrong thread is ripped away, the whole fabric of life becomes dangerously fragile.
