Good grief... I just upped my membership here and Diaryland crashes again. For what it's worth, I opened a new blog site on my own page and may end up taking this forward to there. I haven't decided yet whether or not I like the latest version of WordPress. It either doesn't include the little calendar it used to include, or it didn't encode right on my page.

I know that every web site has crashes and I know Andrew's been working feverishly to get everything up and working agin. I just hate seeing two major crashes in as many months.

Today has been catch-up day. Catch up on laundry, on cleaning, on dishes, even on sleep (though in spite of my best plans there, I was woken twice by the phone. Second time around I just gave up and GOT up.)

The cleaning is far from done but the place already smells better. Having my youngest daughter here for a week, on top of all the garbage last week with Boss and everything else, contributed to making my house one huge mess.

This will be a short entry. I've been working on some odds and ends today and need to finish those up. Hopefully NEXT weekend I'll be able to go to Sister's house again. Was going to give it a shot this weekend but it wasn't doable for either of us. Here's hoping that my bank account is straightened out by NEXT weekend.

Before - After

In the grander scheme of things, no soul can truly be replaced. Each one of us has a place in the universal tapestry. We each contribute our own color and texture. When one thread is snipped too soon, it distorts all the threads around it. Other lives can unravel and tear. If the wrong thread is ripped away, the whole fabric of life becomes dangerously fragile.
