Sometimes the Windshield Sometimes the Bug
Brief entry this morning. Two items, really.
If this doesn't make your blood run cold, nothing will:
Indiana Legislator Proposes Licensing Parents
No, it's not a joke. That's terrifying. What's next? These are the people who want to outlaw abortion, presumably - but they're requiring pre-qualification for singles and homosexuals to become pregnant. Gee, does anybody besides me think that's beyond bizarre and safely into the territory of, "Hey Patty! The nice men in the little white coats are here for ya again!"
My second subject du jour is that it's official. The universe truly has painted a target on my forehead and passed out hunting licenses to the world at large. Having learned my lesson, the details on that are posted on my private diary. (And Bunny, I'll email you the password as soon as I can this morning.)
That is all.
Before - After
In the grander scheme of things, no soul can truly be replaced. Each one of us has a place in the universal tapestry. We each contribute our own color and texture. When one thread is snipped too soon, it distorts all the threads around it. Other lives can unravel and tear. If the wrong thread is ripped away, the whole fabric of life becomes dangerously fragile.
