A Kiss Is Just A Kiss

I like this answer:

"You must remember this, a kiss is still a kiss"
Your romance is Casablanca, a classic story of love in trying times, chock full of both cynicism and hope. You obviously believe in true love, but you're also constantly aware of practicality and societal expectations. That's not always fun, but at least it's realistic. Try not to let the Nazis get you down too much.

Not at all sure how accurate that it is, but I think it's pretty darned cool. (And, incidentally, stolen/lifted/borrowed from Boxx.)

I don't have a lot of time today but hopefully as of tonight I'll have a few more after-hours hours on the computer. Yeesh, the hoops we had to jump through to get everything fixed!

The biz picked up some more work; we'll be handling some computer presentations that are a regular feature on a local television station. It's not a lot of money, but every penny helps, not to mention the fact that it's developing more contacts along the way.

I'm waaaay behind on diary-reading. I did skim through today and am hopefully going to try to catch up with a few, thogh not sure it's possible to catch up with everyone. If I didn't comment on yours and you recently updated and you're on my buddy list, I'm not ignoring you. I'm just buried and also trying really hard not to catch a cold.

So far, the cold's winning, but I'm determined to beat it out in the end.

The hosting service is up and operating, though the folks we purchased the package from didn't do what they said they'd do. Fortunately I didn't expect them to. (Let's not talk about what that says about the state of business services in the US these days.) I had everything covered, and it won't make a difference for our customers, so we're good.

Now we need to establish a realistic price list for web space. I have compared packages and know what the going rates are for hosting packages. We just need to put the numbers together and then put them online. Yee-haw.

Well, boys and girls, this is going to be another short one. Hopefully the last of 'em this short, though!

Before - After

In the grander scheme of things, no soul can truly be replaced. Each one of us has a place in the universal tapestry. We each contribute our own color and texture. When one thread is snipped too soon, it distorts all the threads around it. Other lives can unravel and tear. If the wrong thread is ripped away, the whole fabric of life becomes dangerously fragile.
