The Art of Meme

Because I'm too tired and too brain dead to write an actual entry, I stole this meme from hcatty.

A - Available: VERY happily taken
A - Age: 48, for about another week and a half
A - Annoys: Depends on whether you're asking what annoys me, or who I annoy!

B - Best Physical Feature: probably my hair, now that it's longer
B - Beer: Beer is about a 9.8 on the ick-ter scale for me. They say a 10 is impossible, but it's close.
B - Birthday: the end of this month

C - Crush: My wonderful MC
C - Car: My car's a truck. Sort of. A 2000 Suzuki Vitara, and I take good care of her
C - Career: Pointless (gotta echo you there, hcatty)

D - Day or night: night
D - Dream Car: As long as it looks decent and runs well, I'm loving it!
D - Dogs or Cats: No preference. Each has their good and bad points.

E - Egg nog: Yuck!
E - E-mail: Survival factor

F - Favorite color: Depends on for what and on my mood. Love beigey-golds, aubergines and purples, olive greens, electric blue, etc.
F - Favorite Bands: I suppose CSNY tops the list in terms of bands, per se, but I also love a lot of soloists.

G - Gummy Bears or Worms: Worms

H - Hair Color: blondish brownish reddish grayish. Any questions?
H - Happy: Love life is fantabulous, career's in the toilet, so it's a split decision.

I - Instrument: piano
I - Idol: No idol. I just try to make it through the day and remember that nobody's perfect

J - Jewelery: minimal; one simple ring and my citrine necklace and a tiny pair of gold stud earrings
J - Job: At the moment, that's open to speculation

K - Kids: Four to whom I gave birth, plus a stray grandchild or three
K - Kickboxing or karate: Neither.

L - Longest Car Ride: about 1500 miles, which I drove alone over a span of three very rough days. I was driving sick, just out of the hospital.

M - Milk Flavor: Milk and I have a deal. I don't like it, it doesn't like me, so we stay away from one another.
M - Most missed memory: I don't think I have one
M - Movie Last Watched: Sheesh... I haven't watched a movie in eons. I think the last was Syriana.

N - Number of Siblings: 1 of the male persuasion, one female
N - Number of Tattoos: None. I have nothing against tattoes (unless they're taken to extremes) but I can't think of anything I wouldn't get sick of after a while.

O - One wish: I am too tired to even formulate one. Maybe a prolonged vacation with MC?
O - One regret: No way I can whittle down regrets to one. I have a multitude of them. I regret spending so little time with my kids when they were growing up, but had I done it would've meant not working and they'd have gone without even more. So how can I regret something when I had no choice?

P - Part of your appearance you like best: Honestly? None
P - Piercings: Ears, one hole each

R - Reason to smile: Because MC is in my life
R - Reality TV Show: None of the above

S - Song Last Heard: H.M.S. Pinafore, tonight, live performance with WildRosie.

T - Time you woke up: about 9-ish this morning
T - Time Now: 11:46 p.m.
T - Time for bed: about two hours ago

U - Unpredictable: Sometimes
U - Underwear: Depends on the time and place

V - Vegetable you hate: brussell sprouts (I'm with you there, hcatty!)
V - Vacation spot: *Drools* MMmmmm.... Vacation.....

W - Worst habit: Withdrawing into myself when things get iffy
W - Where are you going to travel? All over the world, I hope.

X - X-Ray: I don't recall the last one I had. I think it was around ten years ago, give or take.

Y - Year it is now: 2006
Y - Yellow: sunny

Z - Zoo Animals: lions
Z - Zodiac Sign: Sagittarius, the archer

Steal away, peoples!

Before - After

In the grander scheme of things, no soul can truly be replaced. Each one of us has a place in the universal tapestry. We each contribute our own color and texture. When one thread is snipped too soon, it distorts all the threads around it. Other lives can unravel and tear. If the wrong thread is ripped away, the whole fabric of life becomes dangerously fragile.
