That's the color of my username, that dark red. A little darker than blood, lighter than wine. It fits, I think, though it's a little odd to think about it. The color of my real name isLeiLani
I find that one particularly interesting - the deep orangy-gold is a favorite color, the color of my birthstone (the only jewelry I own and really like), and the color I most associate with myself.
I borrowed the code from Wench77, who borrowed it from Onewetleg. The coding goes like this:
Note, though - your name has to be a minimum of six letters. It's an HTML thang.
I'm curious to see what colors everyone gets, and whether you think your color fits you. I even made it easy for you - just overtype your name in the form above and copy the code over to your diary, or anyplace else you can use html. If I get time later today I might edit in a way to just push a button and display the result on the same page, but for now you'll have to settle for this.
I've got to get back to work now - may post later tonight, barring catastrophe and Boss's propensity for driving me nuts.
Before - After
In the grander scheme of things, no soul can truly be replaced. Each one of us has a place in the universal tapestry. We each contribute our own color and texture. When one thread is snipped too soon, it distorts all the threads around it. Other lives can unravel and tear. If the wrong thread is ripped away, the whole fabric of life becomes dangerously fragile.
